Cook with your heart because you’re feeding the soul.” This is a philosophy that this bright eyed southern belle lives by. Chef Heather Ann is a Saint Louis native who has taken on leadership roles such as cheer captain and has  leaped into her career at a very young age. She not only graduated at the age of seventeen she began her culinary career too. Heather Ann began at Revival, a restaurant known for its take on fine dining southern cuisine. She was mentored by Chef Cary McDowell. After her time at Revival Chef Heather Ann wanted to see the world as well as make an impact, so she took a risk and joined The United States Air Force and endured a difficult deployment to Afghanistan. After her time in the military she went back to her primary focus in the Culinary Arts field, and was accepted into The Culinary Institute of America,in Hyde Park New York. Heather Ann is truly a go getter, she has staged at multiple restaurants such as Del Posto in New York, BuKu in Raleigh North Carolina, and has worked at The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary North Carolina. She is active in helping her community and reaching out to others in need, so much in fact that during her time in the Air Force she was awarded the presidential volunteer service medal. A supporter of not only her community but big on sustainable efforts Heather Ann enjoys the beauty of food and hopes to share that with the world.
